Elastomeric Coatings Elastomeric coatings are available in several materials and colors for customization of your commercial or residential project. Typically the coatings are used in conjunction with SPF or existing built-up roofs as a durable top coat to seal and protect the roof. The coatings also contain a reflective material to protect the roof from harmful sun rays. In turn the reflective property also lowers the temperature in the structure to reduce energy consumption. The coatings adhere to most substrates including but not limited to:
- Plywood
- Asphalt
- Masonry
- Steel
- SPF
The Elastomeric Coatings are available in three different types. Each coating has its own purpose and protects the substrate for a different number of years.
- Acrylic – 1 part system lasting 2-5 years
- Silicone – 1 part system lasting 5-10 years
- Polyurea – 2 part system lasting for 15-20 year
Applications & Benefits of Elastomeric Coatings
- Elastomeric coatings allow the roof to expand and contract during thermal expansion without allowing water to
penetrate the roof membrane.
- Elastomeric coatings are seamless and completely waterproof.
- Elastomeric coatings (Polyurea) can support foot traffic in minutes with a fast cure time.
- Elastomeric coatings resistant to many solvents, acids, and corrosive compounds.
- Elastomeric coatings are environmentally friendly with no VOC’s (volatile organic compounds) released during
application.
- Low Permeability, Excellent Sustainability
Polyurea truck bed liners form a durable, water and air-tight, permanent liner for the exterior of pick up trucks, dump
trucks and steel containers. These durable, easy to clean and abrasion resistant liners protect utility trucks from their
harsh environments. They also protect against rust and corrosion. Spray on truck bed liners are available in many
colors.
